But what Google have missed here is that the success of these devices hinges on their sound quality. My original Google Home was barely good enough to provide acceptable music to my kitchen. Out of the entire library of products, though, what works best with Google Home Hub are the Nest family of products including its smart thermostat, smart security camera and video doorbell system. Those companies and products are just the tip of the iceberg of what’s supported with more makes and models being added to the platform all the time.
We wouldn’t call it portable, but if you’re leaving it in one spot, this is the best Alexa option out there.
